Just dinners here, not going anywhere. My family comes to my house and my dh's family is 1/4 a mile down the road:)
I am spending Christmas morning with bf and his kids then he and I are going to my sister's for Christmas dinner. All my kids will be there, my two sisters and my brother and mother. Oh also my 4 grandchildren, that's the best part! Bf's kids will go to their mom's right after gift opening in the morning so they won't be with us. They are staying with her for a week so we will have a beautiful break with just the two of us - much needed. Then we are spending new year's weekend at a nice hotel before getting back to the daily grind and me starting my gradual return to work.
Love to hear other folks' plans for the holidays!
Your trip sounds so exciting! I love dolphins too and the children will absolutely adore seeing the baby dolphins. What a special way for your family to spend the holiday together. I once got that special opportunity with my son in Hawaii years ago. We got to swim with a mother dolphin and her twin babies in a lagoon it was amazing. We have a video that I watch every now and then to remind me of that time and it was really special. So have a blast and enjoy every minute. Take lots of photos and video they are treasures later.
My sister is coming and picking Moby and me up and then we will spend Christmas with her and my brother-in-law who I adore. They live in a remote region of Washington between two mountain passes, so there will be a white Christmas. Then the day after Christmas, thanks to my sister who gifted me the ticket, I am flying to Arizona to see my son, daughter-in-law, and two five year old grand daughters.
First of all, I have not seen my son since he returned home from Iraq so this will be a grand reunion for us. He is my only son and we are close. At least I think so, he might think otherwise! LOL! Then it has been a very long time since I saw either of my grand daughter and I adore them. So I am looking forward to hours spend playing games, talking, hugging, pretending, reading, and just hanging out. Due to my seizures I had to miss my sons wedding to his wonderful new bride, so I am really looking forward to getting to spend time with my new daughter and bond with her too. It is going to be a great Christmas.
Merry Christmas to everyone here I hope that this finds you all enjoying the sights and sounds of the season. Hugs, Cathy
have a wonderful Sunday.
