Hello dear friends,

Sorry for being MIA for soo long, but have been trying to cope with my newly diagnosed and having trouble letting it sink in.

First I have received my results from my PCP, regarding the pain in my left hip and lower back, and he says I have several used up disks in my lower back.

Still not sure why, he says it's normal for a women my age, (47), lol, thank you thank you very much!!

I've always work at a desk, but did have a few car and snowmobile accident over the years!

Maybe someone can clarify this one for me, see this was the last of the many issues we had to discuss, and my half hour allowed, turned into over an hour, so in the end he was rushing to get to his next patient.

As for my lung situation, well I was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and emphysema.

I am still undergoing test with a lung specialist at this time.

My left lung has a nodule (scarring) that seems benign, but need a lung biopsy to confirm this, in the near future.

My lung capacity was measured and I am at 60%, at 45% you need oxygen at all time.

As some of you know I live and own a hobby farm, when I told my specialist he adviced me to wear a mask when I go in my own backyard, due to the many animals we have approximately 40ft of the backdoor of our house.

So you can imagine this has been hard for me to absorb, and still find it very hard to get used too.

I have new medication for the lungs, and have to go back and see my specialist next month.

So this is some of the many results I've had during the past few months.

I will try to catch up on all of your guys, hope everyone has a pain free day.
