Success varies. Some people have permanent relief. Many have temporary relief that last 6 months to a few years. And some have none usually because that is not what is causing their pain.
I had trigger point but they were not enough to stop the massive muscle spasms I have. I decided not to try the ESI because of surgical remodeling of the area they would have to inject. Even the doctor thought it would be dangerous to try and I'm not willing to go into the procedure with a doctor being negative.
