i hope you feel better, do they have you on blood thinners? i was on those for 6 months after my blood clot, it was a pain but it broke the clot

They sent me home tonight with shots I have to take myself in the am and pm. Someone is coming over tomorrow am to teach me how to give myself the shots. So tired from being in pain all day. My boyfriend helped me out with carrying stuff and making my bed and taking me to get my rxed filled. I'm also on a blood thinner pill I have to take every evening. I'm never allowed to take birth control again so that means massive horrible periods. Go life.

I read your post about not being able to take birth control- what about the Paragard IUD? It is considered non-hormonal (unlike most other forms of birth control) but carries some of the major positives with it (blood flow reduction during the time of the month, for example). They last for ten years, and are relatively safe.

I am so sorry to hear you were in the hospital and have to take shots. I am also sorry to hear you are home alone. If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to message me.

I hope that this shots help you with this clot. I am sure that they are going to send a home nurse to keep an eye on it, right? At least I hope so! I know is hard to live alone and been sick, I am there too, but if you have friends and family that you can call to help, do not hesitate to do so.
I am one of those that hate to call people because I feel like I don't want to bother them, but I hope that you are not as hard headed as I am! LOL.

Yes they sent a nurse in this morning to show me how to take the shots. I'll have one come again tonight to check up on me. Then one on Thursday to take bloodwork.
