Well after months of fighting with CVS with their constant bull about they don't have my pain meds in stock and will need a week to refill them "that was from the daytime pharmacist" then the meds being filled by the night time pharmicist who had no problem filling them. They had the meds there the entire time, then filled them that same day and didn't bother to tell me. So my meds sat there unpicked up for a week because I waited the week to call them back. They threw my entire pain management routine into a tail spin. I had to reschedule my next PM appointment to correspond with a new 30 day period. I walked into Super RX and had a conversation with the head pharmicst. I explained to him what my conditions were and how much pain meds I was on and he said he was ok with that as long as the amounts did not change very much. He didn't even bat an eyelash. He said he would make sure to have all of my meds in stock every month and he has been such a good pharacist. He knows me by name and he always had my medicin ready on time in a big box waiting for me every month. He does not look down on me and I get no judgemental vibe from him or dirty looks like I did from the pharmacists at CVS and also the pharmacists at Wal-Mart. I guess OCP was right that you can find the right pharmacist and develop a working relationship with them. They even got me my insulin needles by calling Cal-Optima. Something CVS could never seen to do. I don't know if they would be ok with me taking heavier pain meds, but they just upped my Norco from 100 a month to 120 and I didn't even hear one word of protest. Maybe it is because I'm only on 40 miligrams a day "well under the CDC guidelines" but I no longer have to play games trying to get my meds filled every month. All they asked me was if I was being treated by a pain management doctor and that is all they needed to know.
