I've had a terrible time this week and been a little more quiet than usual. I've made two trips to my new Ortho in three days. That, in itself, was too much driving for me. He confirmed what the radiologist had reported in the Spring that I have a full thickness tear and another smaller one of my rotator cuff.
Then my knee was x-rayed and they saw what PT discovered. My kneecap is out of place, I have arthritis and they think an MRI will show a torn meniscus.
I can barely put weight on my left leg because the knee hurts so much. I had to run over to my PT and have her tape my kneecap in place...more pain. Because I've been working, I compensate and now my other shoulder is really screaming when I reach forward or back. My hip down to my foot are screaming.
I have a little break before starting work again. Sitting here...waiting for my idiot NP to call back and say I can pick up a script. She has done nothing but mess with my meds and talk down to me since I started seeing her. I've really had it with the whole struggle. I have too many things that need to be fixedwith surgery and it feels like something else starts every day.
Work is killing me and my NP is an idiot. It's really cold today and the Raynauds is turning my fingers white...indoors!

This is the place to share how we feel...I wish life was not so difficult for you right now. I know that you have multiple layers of things going on that add to you sense of frustration and pain. I had several acute issues that I was unaware of adding to my pain intensity. I'm 11 days away from my second surgery. The first was a total success and I'm so feeling the return of my left arm. My right shoulder is next and I'm praying that it will be a success.
I'm adding you to my constant prayers till we both are doing better and are able to function.
It's a pain that it takes such a long time but it does really happen.
What is an NP? My acute doctors took precedence over my PM doc.

I do hope you get some pain relief soon! You are in my prayers.
In my area the doctors went and got rid of all the NP's, I guess they didn't want to pay them anymore. I would rather see the real doctor every time, but that is my opinion.

So sorry for what you are going thru Cherry, wish I had a magic wand n could get rid of everybodys pain. Until then we'll just have to keep doing what we're doing, loving each other.

I'm hoping that when this is discussed with the doctors in the clinic there wont be such hesitation to prescribe what I'm used to taking...ineffective as it is.
It's worth the drive, even is a snow storm, to go back to the doc who knows me so well and takes the pain more seriously. I have to hang on with this idiot NP until Nov. 9th, though.
This is the worst day yet, for cervical nerve and shoulder pain. I got throuh 2 haircuts and felt like I wanted to die. Rested a while and felt a bit better until I started to move!
