I thought I'd have a bit of a post here on thing recently I have been thinking about...

I go in on January 5th for surgery #3 in 1 year...I think this year has been one of the hadest if not the hardest year of my young life to date (20 years old). I was diagnosed with endometriosis, and it has deffinately controlled my life, but made a list of auto immune diseases understandable now.. however I have always known I had an issue, it wasn't diagnosed through laparoscopy untill this year. I suffered since I was 9 years old.

But, through all this pain I sometimes forget the great things, and honestly, it's easy to do right?

Maybe lets all think of things we're thankful for, the great things in life, even through this disease.

I am thankful for my family, my friends (DS included!), my sanity would not be so great without them! Their kind words and gestures truely save my from this disease.

I am grateful for the amazing care I now have from doctors.

I am thankful for the better days I sometimes have.

I am thankful that there is a tomorrow and I have a chance at it...good or bad.

I am blessed to be having christmas at home this year with my parents and my step brother, my uncle, my niece, my friends, I don't need presents, I have the best gift!

I am thankful, I can still smile, even if it comes with tears of pain.

I am grateful I am strong enough to listen to my body, when enough is enough. To be strong for it, and perservre with acceptance.

I am thankful that I am slowly coming to terms with acceptance of my life.

I am grateful I am not resenting the world for taking away my quality of life, I am not blaming anyone or anything, I am determined to not be defined and to be ok with not being ok sometimes.

I grateful I can appreciate the small things in life like they should be, and not expect the world.
