Our food is poisoned by antibiotics, hormones, fungicides, pesticides.
Our food is stored in plastic which has toxic chemicals. When they write BPA free plastic what they don't disclose is that BPA-free playing acruallt contains BPS which is an alternative chemical and just as bad.
We take a lot of antibiotics and the chicken and other animals are fed antibiotics and hormones while they are being raised.
Building materials have fiberglass, formaldehyde and god knows what else.. The list goes on and on.
Laminate floors off gas formaldehyde for a really long time.
There is just so much to list it is crazy.
I had friends ( I never see them now, they live too far away ) and they had a baby later in life ( almost 50 ) and when I went to visit they said she was screaming with diaper rash so I took zinc cream. The poor thing was hysterical and dad was ready to plaster her butt but mom said 'no chemicals allowed'...I think zinc oxide cream is perfectly safe. Well I wouldn't use it on a child who is older and might ingest it but otherwise I didn't think it was harmful. But their home did bother me because it was directly under some high voltage power lines, I would not have built a home there, but the buzzing would bother me.
I am rambling ( long day ) but I guess what I mean is it's really difficult to get away from all the hazards surrounding us in modern living!
I love the shows set in the wilderness like Alaska, close to nature, not much 'stuff'!
