Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I'd dare him to "kick you out", and let a Judge get a hold of that one. I think he's be packing.
BTW- do you know how many real men it takes to clean a toilet?
None; That's women's work....

With fibro and other painful conditions, sometimes we must relax our standards some. If he is the only one working outside of the home, than it makes sense that you would do most of the cleaning. If you both work outside the house, it should be shared. If you can afford it, consider hiring a maid once per week or two.
You need and deserve to have your pain treated adequately. There is no reason to live in pain. This is the 21st century. If your doctor does not want to prescribe strong enough pain meds, you may need to find a different doctor. Are you seeing a pain management specialist? Most other docs do not Rx schedule II opioids.
I have to say ditto to what Snake and Chronic just said. If you are working and so is he, then the cleaning should be shared, and when you two got married was "in sickness and in health", right??? So why is he treating you this way?
I am so sorry that you are going through all of this pain, plus a jerk that treats you like the cleaning lady that you're not, it is shame! Hugs coming your way.....
I read all the posts, everytime I think of early cronic pain sufferers especially young couples, I don't know how you guys hold out.
It seems almost impossible that two humans can live togeather succesfully with lifes complications then throw in pain (the invisable disease) wow communication is hard enough , wow.
I've been married to the same wonderful girl for 50 years, I wish I had some real words of wisdom to pass on, Eat your spinish or something simple like that, it just ain't simple.
How do we do it? We talk alot, yep we (mostly I) never stop trying to explain and (mostly she) never stops trying to understand.
As for the debris Each of us try to take a stab at it as much as we can then we kick it aside and love each other.
I hope you make it, seems like if you can't make this relationship work, which one will you make work?
It's easy (NOT). If you've seen that cartoon of the frog half way down the throat of that bird with it's (the frogs) hands firmly around the throat of the bird the caption reads " Never give up!". My wife and I mention that cartoon often.
Hope I didn't butt in, see you later
