Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

That is good news and it is so nice to hear good thing that are working out for one of us. YEA
Questions I have a thyroid problem to and was wondering what does you doctor have you on and is it working. Hope you dont mind me asking as it is not to personal the thyroid. Also did you notice when your thyroid started to be screwed up your eating habits were changing? weight gain or lost.
We always seem to talk about chronic pain and meds it is nice to talk about other things.
I also have a low B12 and get shots every month and take supplements and so does my sister so I wonder if it is heredity or because of our CP or if it is age and since you are 101 your profile says I think that is pretty good LOL.
Thanks for letting us know it is good to hear about the good things
I started taking this oh approx. a month... ( I should look it up in my notebook to know for sure) it is called "Armour" Thyroid. She had me start taking an Adrenal Supplement about 2 weeks before the thyroid... its called "Adrenal Stress end." I bought it at "Super Supplements." I think you need to go to a vit store to get it. I couldnt find it at Fred Meyers ( where I shop)
She says that the Adrenals should be supported well before the Thyroid is started.
Yeah well, I haven't lost any weight ( I dont think) but it HAS decreased my appetite. But I think ( I hope-- I hope) I might have the energy soon to start walking again. I miss it SO much! I used to walk and meditate at the same time. I dont want to get ahead of myself...but I used to hike and I would LOVE to do that again.
Here in the NW we have Trees... trees... beautiful forests to explore and the air is SO clean and refreshing...
Thanks for the encouragement, I honestly appreciate it ALOT!
If you have any questions ask away OR if you have any feedback/info about YOUR experiences ( I'd like to hear them)... I am open and there isnt anything that is too personal to ask me- for the most part. LOL
So glad your blood work is good. Added bonus is that you made a point to say that you had a good day.
The blood work must have gotten better since you had that, (exotic dancing) pole, I didn't want to say stripper pole, sanitized. Spilling all that un-pasteurized milk all over it needs to be maintained a bit.
Maybe we should call Hue "Heffer" and see if he can get a crew on it (LOL).
Anyway, I'm glad you're doing OK.
David.
A cause for celebration little dancing cow. One extra round on the pole.
I find it amazing just how many people lack Vitamin D. During my a visit for my clearance for surgery the NP told me 4 out of 6 tested deficient in D. Can't imagine how bad you must have been feeling with everything so off.
My daughter & I both have problems with Anemia. I swear there times I feel I am dragging bottom & I know the cause.
I'm past due for my BW & reading this makes me want to schedule that appointment.
I am curious with your improvement does this seem to help with your CP?
Well congrats on the good news & may your numbers continue to improve.
God bless, Sammy
I'm so happy for you & how this appt went.
When you said you had to "go moisturize your udders", you had me on the floor laughing; thanks; lol
We all need days where we can smile and count our blessings too.
Take care,
Rhonda, IN
I think it's important to share the victories along with the tough days. We're all struggling, and knowing that there are good days too helps keep the spirits up.
:D
Lol! You are all so witty! I usually think up something about 3 days after the fact :~(
Hugs,
Deb
--Sometimes I wonder if I outta get an "udder job."

Hugs and love,
