LOL my hubby is a big ole softy and I guess in his eyes they are already babies and he is probably already naming them. I am going to be known as the crazy bird lady I know it. I am going to be on hoarders and you all are going to be posting about me on the show.

Dipstick- My niece she is five years old, named that one the birdie is white with black spots and that is the name of one of the 15 puppy dalmatians on 101 dalmatians movie. She said it rhymed with lipstick so in her mind that makes senses to name it that

today I hope to get something done, anything. the last few days have been quite stressful. I havve been filling out a medical history for the neurology dr. and it is very inclusive and detailed. last night my wife and i were going through a list of hospitals stays and surgerys and now im feeling like quite a burdon to my family. I hate filling out these histories but it has to be done and now it is
thank goodness

I never get why we hacve to detail all that crap. Has anyone ever seen an doctor actually look at all those papers? Even once, ask a question about past surgeris?
Anyone?

I have stopped wasting time writing all that out. The last time I went to a new doc, they told me to print out the forms, fill in, and FAX to office ASAP. When I arrived at the office with papers in hand, they handed me new set and told me to fill out anyway.
I just stuck them in my purse and took out the copies that I faxed.

I think they do that to keep you busy so you don't realize the doc is 30 minutes late for the appointment.

I agree Sunny. I was talking about that to someone. They give you pages and pages of questions about details as far back as you can remember then you get in there and they stand at a computer and ask you the questions again while they enter it. This just happened to me. Then when you go back for something they ask you things you already answered twice! They also listen with one ear and don't enter everything you tell them. i had to repeat that I had illeus 3 times before she put it in PC. Illeus...quite an important fact. Unbelievable!! I have also had docs prescribe meds for me that would have caused my intestines to get blocked even after I made sure they knew I had illeus! I have no respect or trust for them.

wow, it's after noon. so good day. negative energy today - not bad, below zero. i have a ride home from grocery shopping, so i'm forcing my self out.

I have a 3 ring binder where i keep all my medical info. Copies of all doctors notes, hospital info, mri reports and cds (get those cd sleeves). And right up front is a list of doctors with addresses and phone numbers.

This makes it really easy when I have to fill out those forms. My neuro makes you update all info once a year even if nothing has changed. I will say that I get the doctor's attention when I show up with my binder and can pull out whatever info they want.

And I have to say...it is NOT a good morning or a good day. I don't know why I even said that earlier. I guess because it is what is accaptable here, but then that makes it like every other place in the world where you have to pretend to be okay when you're not!

I'd like to say how I really feel but I guess that would be too upsetting to some people.
