Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
i did a bird bath b/c i'm too afraid the way i feel to stand in the shower and too ocd to sit in the tub til i clean. got out for horrible bus ride to get cigs. got insulted by a guy at the bus stop who kept bumping my back. just said whatever, just please stop. so if we could just get through the day, hoorah for us.
for everyone who managed or endured more, super yay! i really hope tomorrow is better.
Do dishes & clean counters
Light exercise - upper body
Phone calls to schedule various appts.(doctors, etc.)
That's about it. I slept in this AM, because I slept so little last night. Too much pain.
I hope you are all having a low pain day.
Hugs & prayers,
Cindy
I brought my puppy to the beach and enjoyed watching her discover the water!
I talked to a good friend that I love very much!
I went to my chiro and got a great massage!
I went shopping and made dinner and cleaned out bird cages and hamster cage. I hate when i am so unproductive it makes me feel bad about my day.
Manged to talk the hubby out of going back to the ER tonight, thank you GOD! There is no way I could spend hours in those uncomfortable chairs again, specially with my back killing me, I might just have to kill the hubby & snatch his IV of pain medicine. Just kidding, I've come to the conclusion that the pain at least lest me know I am alive, But right now it's almost getting to the point of no return. Thinking hubby really needs to pass out so I can quick run for smokes & get back before he realizes I was gone.
Alright time to mad a run (or crawl depends on what body will allow) to the store because I am beat & if I get some sleep it might feel a little better.
See ya all in a few hours.
I got through it and had two bonuses...
I talked to a freind who saved me from more anger and despair.:-) :-)
I had an opportunity to spend some time with the grandson I don't see enough at a time I wasn't feeling very up to it.....
I decided to treat that as my goal...and did spend some nice time with him....cost me my last spoon and last BT Med for the day,,,but totally worth it for the sweet smiles and hugs.:-) :-) :-)
Thanks all for this great thread...
Hugs...jc
