I've been prescribed gabapentin and picked it up and didn't realize until now that it is the Northstar brand of generic that I've heard terrible things about. Sure enough, when I did a quick google search, I see they even issued a recall on their gabapentin a few months ago because of the bottles containing empty capsules. I've heard many bad things about other medicines that Northstar makes too.
For those of you who are getting some good results with the gabapentin, which manufacturer/lab//brand of gabapentin do you take?

I have been taking gabapentin for about two years now. I have had two brands and can tell you that I always have Nupentin 300 by alphapharm. Not sure if you have it over there?
I've learned that if I try a medicine and it doesn't seem to work, that trying the same medicine made by a different manufacturer will sometimes make a big difference.
I've taken it for years and it does really seem to help. Good luck!

..I've noticed what feels to be quite a difference in effectiveness of different brands of meds..
I'd never given thought to side effects being equally altered by different brands.
I'll be paying closer attention now.
