Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
It is very, very hard to be sick for a long time, its hard to adjust to the changes we have to make, and we don't always like them, but the answer or 'fix" you're talking about is not the solution. Do you see a Therapist for your Depression, if so can you contact him/her and let them know whats going on?
Even though its hard, if you have the proper support you can do it...sometimes its day to day, some days are better than others, but you can do it. I've been in Pain Management for 31 years now...so long I don't really remember much of what my other life was like.
Please contact someone regarding your depression and suicidal thoughts. Those are definitely things you don't want to carry with you from day to day.
Take care and be safe,
Kat
Try to find something that brings you some pleasure in your day. Hobbies are hugely important. So is getting out of the house when possible. Do not isolate yourself. Tell people how you are feeling. Get someone to talk to if you don't have anyone yet. Good luck
