Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I don't think a pharmacists has the right to criticise or question you or your Dr Jasmine and I also question the legitimacy of the argument that selling pain meds makes pharmacies a target for thieves- most of them carry thousands of dollars worth of other merchandise which presumably also has to be protected from criminals.
Even now I am finding it's often better to self-pay for a specialist rather than wrangle with United Healthcare. I saw one Dr a few months back and it was$100 if I just paid, $320 since I tried to use my I surance- who refused to pay.
yeah your pharmacist was just an ass with no right to do what he did. he has no responsibility if you were to go offtrack and become a drug addict...you have scripts signed by your dr.'s, they have no, reason to act like that, NONE! Sounds like his ego is getting the better of him and he's just irked because he didn't have good enough grades to get into med school so now this is the close he can get to playing Dr.
I'd definitely lodge a complaint with his Manager and also with the State Pharmacy Board.
