Bless your little boy's heart --- he must be very intuitive!!! Usually at 2 yrs old, they're running & getting into everything! LOL You're doing a very important job right now in just being there for him and caring for him. You CERTAINLY aren't useless!!!
Don't worry -- this "flare" will stop and you'll be able to do a little more. But for now, just take care & pamper your body. You'll be back to whatever your "normal" is very soon. God bless & please take care. Hugs, Lee
Dear you have had more of your share of sorrow in your young life, your feelings are understandable and expected! It is ok to to be weary, frustrated, afraid, worried, and grieve. It is ok to feel all of these things because we are human. Because we have CP and our situation is ongoing my strategy has always been that I give myself a day. Yes a day to really wallow in self pity and get out everything I am feeling. I use the day to cry, journal, and feel sorry for myself. Then the next morning I pick myself up and begin to think about how I can make life better for myself. This method has served me well. I get to honor my feelings, but then get back on track. I have been dealing with CP for over 20 yrs. so I know how wearing it can be.
It is so interesting to me how we value ourselves in this world. I fully understand, I do it to myself too. But as I read your post I I was so moved. Just how you spoke about your relationship between your son and his connection to your illness it sparked a memory of my own son and how he was effected by my MS. Just the very act of you posting has effected me in a positive way. I thank you for that!
You hang in there dear friend and I will keep you in my thoughts & prays. Hugs, Cathy
I hope you feel better tomorrow.
Hugs and prayers,
Cherry
You can only do what you can do. Sometimes you have to trust that God has a reason for everything and just do your best.
Hope you feel better today
