I am feeling almost alive today. My pain is currently at a level I can function. That is a bit scary and I am almost afraid to move as I am worried it will get worse.
Nicely enough, my brain is mostly clear and I am starting to come out of zombiehood.
So how you all, my dear friends? Any plans for today?
Hubby and I are hoping to go check out a horse stable about 45 minutes from here. It is not really closer then where they are now, but as a professional business, my horses won't be left without water. It also has an indoor arena... The property owner where they are now is blowing up my messenger with apologies. I am not really ready to listen to them yet.
The close pasture did not work out.. too dangerous of a road. If the horses ever got out onto the road, heaven forbid, they would be dead. I would rather drive out and water then every three days.
Other than that, ug, it is time to give the ferret cage a good cleaning. I will lock them in the back bedroom so they can play and I can do the cage in waves.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
I scooped the poop just few minutes ago in back yard...got a tall kitchen trash can that I keep just for emptying the scooper into to move it to dumpster and I filled and partly refilled it....the poop has been neglected since maybe Oct.....it can accumulate fast I guess...
Tonight I am dressing up all in black and going on date to the Repertory theater at the U that I got my MA from...the show? Ring of Fire; the Music of Johnnie Cash...hence the black shirt and pants and shoes as well as a long top coat that is black too...even my company baseball hat that has white logo but is black baseball hat...LOL
I am kind of down about where things are going with the date though....it seems there has been no romancing for the entire time we have dated over last two months....kind of let down about that....but hey I have a friend...just don't have a GF.....
Yes, the horse drama goes on. I figured out that right now we are spending right about $600 a month between feed an gas. For $600 a month there are some very nice stables where I would have all sorts of great places to ride, hot wash racks, etc... I can't afford to move them until the first of the year, so I am going to look around to find the best fit I can.
gramybear, it has been a very nice day today. Probably the best day I have had that did not involve a horse and trails in at least a year. It has been really just nice!
as for my move being first I am stuck at mostly turned cheek good night kisses....but tonight I got just a peck on my lips....which is better than many previously...but then how to turn it into romance when we are never together except the events? Tonight she said she could not stay out because she had been up since five and worked 9hrs...I knew that was coming...we did not even approach entering my house after the event....just a kiss in street and bye bye....
The funny part is that she will go to ask me for dating advice and I have none. Hubby was the first guy I even went out with...
