Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
do you like them? are you going to get to see them much more? are they accomodating/understanding of your pain?
that's such a tough call. i hope you can work it out.
Me, clean clean clean (been down glued to couch for about 2 weeks now & hubby was really sick the 2 weeks prior so the house is more like a barn if not worse) then Bake, bake & bake some more so that Easter morning I can finish cleaning & then cook, cook, cook. I always make plates for some of my neighbors in the apartments since there are quite a few older men that live alone & have no one & even though hubby has a fit I just...well I'm human. Just hoping that I can get it all done with the pain issues. Thankful my flare seems to be letting up & between that & then new med I am hopeful.
I'm sure I'll talk to all before & probably during but still... Wishing everyone a Happy 'PAINFREE' Easter!!!
They are getting old and in poor health. They dont understand my pain even though Ive explained it to them numerous times, hubby doesnt seem to get it either(cause I look good and dont cry in pain?)
we'll see what happens, if he doesnt agree to leave sat am I may not go.
I hope it works out for you. Best wishes for a low pain day, Dianna
No plans here, just the usual stuff, at least I don't have a dinner to worry about:)
Late morning choir service
Lunch choir service
Sleep
that about does it!!!
Love singing all day long. Tired after though.
I get to sit!
Hope this year I can make it thru. Last year was a flop. Had to leave early. And I sing the really high notes in The Messiah Halleluiah chorus.
Anyone know why we stand for that part?
Anyone wanna know?
If you stay home, will he be mad and embarrassed that he had to explain your absence to everyone, and explain that you really do love them, you just hurt too bad to travel? If so, then go.
I know my dear hubby gets angry when I send mixed messages like "I'm OK", then wince in pain when he's not looking, but sometimes he sees anyway. He also doesn't like me to play the martyr. So I just tell him it hurts, but there's nothing he can do to "fix" it, and that just being with him makes me feel better, even though he's not doing anything to help my pain.
And by all means, don't hide your pain. That's a hard thing for any of us to do, and you'll feel better if you don't have to "act" better than you feel. On days when I'm feeling better, my hubby askes over and over again "Are you REALLY feeling better?" It's better in the long run to just tell it like it is.
Good luck, whatever you decide.
He already has this all planned out without taking u and your pain into consideration. Makes me sad :( I wouldn't go! I would stay home watch movies take a hot bath and do what you want. Enjoy the peaceful feeling of being alone.
Please don't think I am harsh I just don't like him saying "don't even bother coming"
Xoxo
Then just for fun a little more singing.
Then a LONG nap!!!
