Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I'm sorry that the nice happy day you had planned with your daughter turned out so badly. Guess getting out of that stable pretty quick would be a good thing. Hope you don't lose your friend over it.
I must say that I am very surprised that your Ortho/Neuro/Sping Dr.'s allow you to ride when it causes you such a large amount of pain, not to mention the constant jostling around of your back and neck. You must be in serious pain every time you ride.
I've not been able to ride for 8 years now. I still hang with the horses in the corral and give them their King's Ransom worth of carrots and apples, and spend time in the barn grooming them.
It's a good way to stay connected with my horses without causing any pain or more injury.
Hope you heal quickly.
