I love the drug I am on 80mg and my neuropathy and Leg pain is less...I have no noticeable side effects. I go to the V.A. and it is hard to get it but they approved it for me right away.

After trying numerous epilepsy medications (they somehow block pain) and numerous antidepressants with no real help and bad side
effects-------I asked my doctor for Cymbalta.
I started at 30mg. Been on it over a year.
It has greatly reduced my pain and flare ups.
Last week my doze was increased from 30 to 60mg. I am feeling nausea. The doctor told
me they do not see very good results with
doses over 60mg. I am glad. As, I am hoping
I will be able to tolerate the 60mg.

i'm *extremely* sensitive to meds. cympbalta didn't work for me. i couldn't get past the initial side effects of nausea and increased anxiety, so i stopped. if i would've waited longer, maybe my experience would've changed, but the hard hitting panic attacks that increased on that was too much for me.

Cymbalta had been perscribed to me for both depression and physical pain. It worked well. But, I could not deal with the side
effect of how much weight that I gained on it.

This was the first medication they tried when they finally diagnosed my pain as being nerve related. I had to be taken off of it after about 3 weeks though because it made me SOOOO jittery and anxious. Also, it seemed as if it was working at first, but the pain came back after a few days just as bad, even after increasing the dosage.

i have been on symbalta for 3 years for depression i take other meds for my pain, my mood swings are so much better now i dont lose my temper anymore i dont cry like i was. so many surgurys and broken bones i was losing it it really did help but for pain it doent do a darn thing to me for that also i take one in the morning and one at bedtime one did quit working after awhile. i am on 60mg two times daily. lisa

I am on Cymbalta for pain for my headaches. I take 60mgs in the morning. It is in addition to my other meds of Topamax 100 mgs, Lyrica 300 mgs .

I have been on 30 mg of cymbalta for about 4 months. It has helped some. It seems to give me a bit more energy than what I had before.

I took it once for awhile, it did not work for me. and, I was told by my doctor that it was no different than the other anti depressants that adds seritonin. (sorry if I spelled that wrong) . Anyway, he increased my prozac, and that has helped with my depression.

I have been taking Cymbalta for a few weeks now. I have chronic back pain. I was really depressed before cause I was taking nothing for my depression. I dont know if its working or not. I just feel sleepy still have my pain. It has done nothing to improve my mood swings. It just makes me sleepy is all.

I take 50 mg it has done wonders for me but my sister is on it and she seems worse but she don't take it on a regular basis.Doctor told me to take it everyday it not the type medicine to take one day andnot the next.Deb

I started Cymbalta a few years ago when I was extremely depressed. I didnt see any change after a couple weeks so I was very frustrated because I was still feeling so depressed. My dr urged me to stick with it but I stopped. After a few months of trying another med I decided to give Cymbalta 60mg another try. This time I stuck with it and took it only at night because it seemed to make me sleepy. Now after a few years on it I am used to it but recently needed to double the daily dose for my nerve pain so I take 60mg in the morn and 60mg at night. I dont think it works for the nerve pain(yet)but it is helping the depression.

I can't take cymbalta. It gave me severe headaches!

i have been on cymbalta for about a year now for periferal neuropathy..that along with lyrica...the combo has been a lifesaver for me..the burny feeling in my feet is controlled...I can do my daily activities and sleep at night...The 2 are expensive but as long as I can afford it I will keep on them..A few side effects like dry mouth and muscle twitches but nothing I can't cope with....( I do promise to be nice, lol)
