Good on you for quitting smoking, since you did it maybe i can too. I've been on and off lyrics 3 times over the years. First time i stopped cold turkey with no probs. This year the doc said i should be weaned off and i thought i would die. Good luck with whatever way you choose.

Congrats on being smoke free! I stopped Lyrica by titrating down from 2700mg to 300 mg. No problems.

Hi there!! I wanted to say congratulations on quitting smoking as this is not easy to do!! This is a great accomplishment and you will feel better!! As far as the lyrica is concerned....from all I have read and know about it is best titrated and not stopped cold turkey. For final info always best to talk with your doctor about it. ask your dr. but when i quit a medicine that took a bit to do and i gradually tapered down - then tricked my body by instead of having one morning/ one evening - skipping the am and taking it later in the day and then taking the evening - eventually skipping the evening and taking when i woke up or middle of the night.

Congrats on your smoking , you had best speak to your pharmacist or doctor . Lyrica can cause many health problems by stopping cold turkey. So my main suggestion is to speak to the Pharmacist.Usually with meds that at 100 mg you usually allow 4 weaks to wean off when you r in hospital starting at 100mg for a week, 75 mg, 50 mg, and 25 mg and if you can get them down then to 12.5 even with going to 1 pill a day it will be a shock to your body . What amount where you taking if you were at 300 you need to go 300 for 1 week and so on. but best to talk to your pharmacist. okay isabee
