Its bitterly Cold outside this morning I can handle the cold I am just thankful that we did not get the ice and snow that they said we were going to get Please remember to bring your pets inside and if you have to go out today don't stay outside to long. stay indoors because its really cold and you can get frostbite also remember to check on your family and friends. as well as the elderly and the one who have chronic illnesses I hope that everyone stays warm and I hope you all have a low pain day love each and everyone of you all

I am inside...outside is minus five right now at 9am....so snow is not going to melt we got 13inches yesterday...I got stuck last night when coming home from animal emergency hospital....so I had car towed home the two blocks from where I got stuck...and car sits in its place until such time that the roads are fully drivable...I am going to go take a bus to grocery store some point since I need ingredients for my beef pot roast crock pot recipe....since I have thawed the beef for this I might go out today walk two blocks to bus stop then go the 1/2 mile on bus to grocery store...buy what I need and get back on bus home....it will not take much to freeze my toucas off though so I will wait to see how warm it gets today first...that roast can sit in fridge a day or more before I go out to get the stuff I need...but Thurs we are to get more snow....:(

I moved my CAT scan from Friday to a week from Tuesday 14th....10am...that way the snow on thursday can keep me housebound for the day on top of the 13inches we currently have....

Nice to see you Tabby. Thanks for the good thoughts. That was very sweet of you to worry about everyone.
I got a poodle named Snuggles and he stays in doors. But I remember when we did have dogs outside we always brought them in when it was this cold.
It's freezing here in Pa. but I got my heating blanket on and am keeping warm. I hope your keeping warm too.

The weather people and others keep warning people that the below
zero temps can cost frostbite in just a few minutes, yet they had a football game a few days ago in a temp of -12. I guess football is
worth frostbite.

Keep warm, and hopefully, the temps will be a little easier to take, soon.

Being from Canada freezing cold is often the norm. I only wish they would shut things down and cancel appointments due to the cold. Just because we are used to it doesn't mean we have to like it :p
