One Sunday in a Midwest City,
A young child was "acting up" during the morning worship hour.
The parents did their best to maintain some sense of order in the pew
But were losing the battle.
Finally, the father picked the little fellow up
And walked sternly up the aisle on his way out.
Just before reaching the safety of the foyer,
The little one called loudly to the congregation,
"Pray for me! Pray for me!"

I remeber being little and my grandma pinching me if I was doing something I shoudn't in church.
The presider was not happy. BUt she never mis-behaved in church again.
wonder what they woud have said if the Knew we would only place a part of the money in Sunday school and then the rest would pool together (@the time it was 5 of us) our money and one of us would run to the store (two doors down) and get candy to eat during service.
Didn't JEsus say, "Get those darn kids away from me so I can have a minute to myself"?
