Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Sadly the few who do like to have their posts "all about me" are spoiling it for others as they neither care nor support the rest.
They just want to see themselves up on the internet where the world can see them......
And that is right - the world can see everything that is written on the public areas of this site.
It is a big world out there.
So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you!!
Jenna
That was beautiful. I'm gonna carry that one with me. Thank you.
And, yes, you are heroic-
You may but with your post it just got me thinking again that I dont use this time better to educate myself more on things. I remember when I was working 60 hours a week I would day dream about what it would be like not to work and what I would do unfortunately because of the circumstances I cant do anything physical but I could do something mentally
I have no idea why I went off on this line of thinking LOL maybe we can figure it out after my cup of coffee
Manny YOU have a house full of people that you "do" for - not to mention your extended family and then you are busy with craft work - I think you do a lot - I an not craft oriented and I envy people who are.
You do more than enough IMO to keep your mind and body as active as you can!
Thanks for the thoughts my friend. HUGS to you!
May your day be peaceful and joyful,
Ama
I won't lie, I do make sure that I spend time playing my video games every day, as well as having at least 2 tea parties a week with my 3 year old princess, but I devote a good deal of time to expanding my mental landscape.
I had a real hard time growing up because I was born dyslexic, and back then there was not a whole lot of people that even knew what the condition was, let alone how to teach someone that suffered from it. But god was looking out for me and he led a truly wonderful and talented teacher into my path.
With the help of her I not only learned how to read, but I also learned how to read rather quickly and to remain cognitive of the subject matter that I am reading. My comprehension and retention levels are off the chart so now I consume books.
I find myself reading to pass the time between medications, and I also find myself obsessing over what topic to pursue during my literary "meals".
I can create beautiful worlds in my mind, I can travel to the ends of the earth behind my closed eyelids and with every bit of text I devour these worlds expand.
So long story short Manny I encourage you to expand your mind, the concept of knowledge is power is amplified in people that are disabled, that is my opinion at least. And I strive to learn everything i can.....Kris.....
