Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

I'm glad to hear no-one judging this decision so far. I actually checked with my therapist first. She knows I have major depression and recommended I do what I needed to, to get my pain under control until the new pain management doctor put a plan together. I did disclose to new doc that I took it a few times and they didn't kick me out!
Cbd only really helped my inflammation for psoriatic arthritis and stomach inflammation I get. Kratom is legally sold in smoke shops in Austin Texas.
Thank you for the suggestion of meditation. I really need to get my anxiety down which makes pain worse. If there are any specific meditations or apps you use, I'm all ears. Thanks again!
There are alot of things you can do to help ease the pain or even reverse the problems you are suffering from. Accupuncture is one. I know many who swear by this....practitioners are everywhere now, as it is becoming more mainstream
Grounding is another. This you can do without spending any money. Just take your shoes off and go outside and put you feet on the grass.. Our ancesters have done this for centuries and never had the kind of problems we have in today's world... Researchers have discovered how it works, and this is also becoming more mainstream. I like to do this and meditate at the same time. Basicly, meditation is just sitting in a quiet place and clearing your mind of all the noise and chatter from the world around you. One of the ways to do it is to focus your thought on just one thing, such as a word that has no meaning. It takes practice but from my experience, it is well worth it.
Just changing my diet has helped me immensely....like cutting out all refined foods, sugar, and switching to a low carb diet. I mean there are days in which I will give in to the temptation to cheat but it will always result in pain which motivates me to go back to a healthier diet.
You tube is my "Go to" place for finding information from holistic doctors on alternative remedies. Everything I do, I learned from watching you tube videos :)
You can also look up a Holistic doctor in your area. Insurance may not cover it so you will have to ask, first.
Hope this helps.
I think what you are saying about holistic is what I need to add to my routine. I have many injuries from 4 accidents, so not getting stressed is big on pain. Thanks for your input! I'll give the grounding technique a try with meditation.
I have been using three different devices (near infrared & two with red light also) and have noticed immediate improvement in knee and other joint pain and also just starting treating my back pain.
I am not in a position to recommend specific products yet, but there are many on the market. The prices are very reasonable considering that light therapies have been proven effective, with no side effects.
Worth considering.
I had tried far infrared at a facility before for my fibromyalgia. Better to own one if it works it sounds like.
