Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

put my purse down and whammmo pain hit me like a train..so, i am thinking either the lyrica was holding the pain back then released it or maybe the nerve block was helping then wore off, i dont know what my body is telling me right now
im going to take it easy for the rest of the day and see how tomorrow is ill keep a pain journal in the mean time...wanting to hear how every body else is doing..((hugs))) for all
I had two students today and did fine...but after breakfast I had bad diarrhea and needed to put clothes into washer...they are now in dryer...then after dinner tonight just as I stuffed in the last of a Qdoba grill burrito I gagged and puked up a bit of dinner onto my bed and the floor...so sheets and the matress pad went into shower first to get the stuff off and then into washing machine...I feel ok just think I pushed too much food into me and gagged which lead to vomiting....
other than that I am now taking flowmax and have already noticed improvement in peeing....I only took one last night but it is effective...I am supposed to take 1/2hr after meals...so waiting now...about time to take it I guess...
staying home tonight and student tomorrow at 11am....wishing I was not this busy but sure do like having the income...double edged sword...LOL
anyway I am home now and tired...since the hockey game is on NBC tonight I am sure leno is not on in normal time...I have student at 11am tomorrow...it is about 45min drive to get the student...I guess that means early morning for me....
E4, so sorry your pain has skyrocketed hope it settles down & you are able to get some rest.
Bill, I hope you feel better I hate when I get sick to my stomach. Glad you have so many students lately so nice of you to take Dennis shopping with you.
My day was a screw up on my part. I had a 9am dental appt so I stayed up and never went to bed as that's when I usually go to bed. Anyhow, go to leave and it's a torrential downpour outside. Fumbled with umbrella and my stuff finally get into my car and the damn thing wouldn't start. Called hubby at work to find out where his truck keys were, ran back in the house & got them then transfered everything to truck, by this time I'm having a slight asthma attack. Called the dentist told them what happened & that I was on my way but might be a few minutes late only to find out I was a week early it's next wed. Talk about feeling like an idiot. So there I am stuck in the truck by this time it's raining so hard I could barely see 100ft in front of me so I figured I would just wait til it let up a little...one hour later finally able to get back in the house. I have been having a lot of trouble with my back lately especially my lower back I'm not able to stand straight anymore so I go to walk in the kitchen and a sharp pain hits in lower left side of back, my left leg buckled & right one is really weak, thankfully I didn't fall. Uugghh so sick of this, so I spent the day doing the usual of just laying down. I guess I'm going to finally have to give in and call the Dr. I've been putting it off for five months or so guess it's about time..sigh
I hope you all and everyone that follows has a good night with low to no pain.
Hugs & God Bless
Lisa
Bill, okay everyone can say I'm mean and get mad at me, whatever....but there is a such thing as too much information. I realize you love to tell about every second of your day, even though it's not really a CP related day....but details of your diarrhea/messing your pants and puking on your bed and floor because you stuffed too much food in your mouth is just too much! We don't need to hear about your bowel movements, peeing habits and puking. It's just too much flipping information!
E-4 Ouch! I hate to hear that, you are aways so sweet and kind.
I hope it's nothing serious.
Lisa- What a day you had! You know I wish you the best along with low pain and good sleep for you too.
Tabby- I would think the hospital would have you on a different diet that seems so heavy of a meal, for all that is going on in your system?
Kat- I agree, Let's be the first to invent a filter button for us when reading about Bills bodily functions..
Wait a minute, I'am going to hit esc now- or un-subscribe....tummy-flip-flop...Lol
Peace- Love- Joy
