Advice on PEMF?

I posted this on the back pain support group, but I have been suffering for about 4 years and I feel I am running out of options. Traditional MDs can only prescribe drugs, and recently an ortho surgeon told me my condition was "inoperable". Bad news, but I do appreciate his honesty.

So, does anyone have first-hand experience with using a PEMF system for chronic or back pain?

I am wondering what is your official diagnosis and have you been evaluated by a neurosurgeon vs ortho?
Idk about using this device for pain, but I ve used it for non-union of my leg and I ve seen people use it for fresh lumbar fusions.
Some patients ( myself included) actually had pain increase while using the device.

I am sorry I do not know what a PEMF stands for all I can think of is something similar to or same as a tens unit?

guy in post Alternative..... is asking also. You two should get your heads together and learn....so aronia you say this device causes more pain? sometimes? We need to review it. Too bad I can only sit a few minutes..that is where my pain is. :(

The pain was worse only while i used the device for 30 minutes per day, but it did the job!
