This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

The light crept a crossed my pain ravaged body this morning, I can only imagine the beauty as it glistened off the single tear that rolled down my cheek, I had a bad dream but woke up to a nightmare. The pain has been so bad lately....
I went for x-rays on both knees today as well as blood work, compression stockings and got measured for my new knee braces that are $400 each...wow they must be the Cadillac of braces....
While i was off getting this done my wife was a floor above me getting my youngest daughters well child check up done at our pcp. The x-ray tech was a trainee and he had no clue what he was doing. I explained to him repeatedly that i have severe pain almost everywhere so we needed to get me done asap, between the chill in the air and the hard table i was in agony, combine that with the odd positions he had me contorted in and it was pure hell...
I held it together as long as i could, but when i had to have several shots redone because he was taking so long and i was literally shaking uncontrollably from the pain i lost it, i regret it but i lost my cool and treated him horribly, i apologized after but once some things are said it doesn't matter...
after i was done i couldn't walk, my level went from a solid 5 up to a 9, i had to ask for a wheelchair and an orderly to take me up to my wife and daughter. thankfully they graciously said yes even though i was so rude.
During this whole ordeal i kept thinking about everything that i said and was said to me on my angry post here yesterday. and all i can say now is thank you everyone.....Thank you so very much, you all helped to open my eyes to something that i was oblivious to. I am on the verge of a very serious breakdown......
after my pcp saw my daughter i cornered him and asked for help. I explained to him every thing that's been going on as well as my mental state. I see a therapist Friday, and let me repeat myself thank you all......
Im still here wracked with pain, i feel like i am sinking in quicksand at an alarming rate, but for the first time in a long while there a hand reaching out to me, to offer help and perchance salvation...
Now the sun is setting on yet another day but thanks to you, my dear friends i go towards the next day with a gift..........Hope......
Love.........Kris........

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Thank God you're getting some help......
Hold on.
Hugs.....jc..
I'm really so glad, Kris....you're in such a desperate state.
Hugs again...
Because a day's gone wrong.
Let not your heart be troubled,
For a new day soon will dawn
And we can never be quite sure,
Just what it has in store.
Since each one is so different,
Than the one just gone before
As it penetrates the darkness,
With its soft and tranquil beams.
It calms even the most restless soul,
And brings new hopes and dreams
So when a days been troubled,
And the night is dark and long.
Lift up your fallen spirits,
For a new day soon will dawn
Hang in there.
Hugs,
Ama
hugs
Healing hugs
Hugs,
Theresa
