I am doing ok...I had alarm set to 7am but did not get up to 7:45 to go to the grocery store as big one day sale and I did not want to have to get a rain check on items that sell out normally faster than not.....

So I have been out to the grocery store and it is chilly out there...my clock with indoor outdoor thermometer says it is 41 out there...for me I think it is that it is really window out there....the winds are howling....

Anyway Yadlim I am glad you stopped in while awake even if I was sound asleep....it is not as if we have to do this in an immediate reply state here at DS we can take our time and come back later to see who said what about who...LOL

I'm here for a while tonight. Today I enjoyed myself. I bought a box of donut holes and a gallon of dryers ice cream. Screw the blood sugars today. I about ate myself unto a diabetic coma earlier. I needed it. Sometimes you have to have the comfort foods. I had a bad night last night. I stared to feel numbness in my mouth, gums, and tongue - the same feeling I felt last year this time when my fact went dead for a few months with Bells Palsy. Oh my God, I was pleading with God to spare me another bout of facial paralysis. I was scared to sleep on my right side. I can't go through another bout of Bells Palsy.

Thankfully the numbness went away. It was even in my throat - like someone shot Lydocaine in my mouth. I also have been having a lot of problems with my sense of smell for the past two days. I could have swore I smelt rotting meat when I was frying up my hamburgers yesterday and I smelled ribs coming in the house today and nothing was being cooked at that time. I hope it's not a stroke because my BP and heart rate haven been up a lot lately. I feel better tonight though. I thanked God for bring me through that dark night last night. I hope to see a few of you on here this evening. Hugs to everyone!

I am here Yadlim but it's probably your sleepy time. I am usually up between 4-5 am on the east coast. Don't ask why cuz I don't know. I actually think Annette should have tried out for a Super Bowl ad. Her lyrics are soooooo original. Hugggs and have a great night and Annette can I be your agent? Lol

I had injections in both knees on Monday. Finally, but today, they have taken effect. The ortho said that I had "pretty bad arthritis" in both knees, primarily on the outsides. Since he practically bolted out of the room at my last appointment when I brought up my knees, I had the opportunity to tell him that I was diagnosed 14 years ago, and no, those weren't my first knee injections. He said the injections will last three months, maybe longer. Then he said he'd "see me in October." ???

He also gave me the name of an ortho who specializes in feet and ankles. I looked up the guy and he had terrible reviews from patients about his personality. Well, I can't do anything about that for several months anyway. Too many medical bills and $40 co-pays.

The weather is turning, so I know I will start feeling it. Yuck...

Anxious for the Super Bowl! (commercials.)

well I have been up this Super Bowl Sunday morning since 3 something....I have soar throat too.....but having cup of coffee which seems to soften some of the scratchiness and I am hopeful that with some salt water after my coffee which I will gargle that this soar throat will go away.....
