Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I am so sorry to hear how you are struggling with both pain and isolation. The pain is hard enough to cope with, without adding isolation to the mix. You will find support here, and people that understand. We get it, we care, and we listen very well! :)
Have you checked to see if there are any pain support groups in your area that meet in person? It may be helpful to meet others who face the same challenges but also are there in person.
Sending warm hugs and prayers your way for some peace and relief.
Ouch
I live alone, about an hour away from any family members, and I always go to all of my appointments for procedures and Doctor's offices by myself, so I am use to it and I just deal with it, because I do not advocate for myself, no one else will.
You mention that you are having a procedure that you really don't want to have done, if you don't want it, WHY are you having it done??? A Doctor CAN NOT make you go through any procedure, surgery, etc. that you do not want, or are unsure about, so next time that your Doctor says; "you need to have this and that done", you say; "Doc, let me do some research, and I will give you a call, if decide to have it done", simple as that!
The road is long and full of pain, and advocating for your health, is the most important thing that you can do. Welcome,
Best of luck! I'm here for you!

Hope all goes well,
H##ll"? Just wondering because someone might actually step up.
We are here and this pain business is understood here. I do believe in support and we can be with you. Maybe not in person but in spirit and encouragement. So I am sending every positive thought I have to you
today. It is scary and it helps when someone understands that.
Hold on tight.
Warm hugs,
Linda
