a weekend check in would be a nice thing
Just hope I can find time to check in on the weekend. Often that's my hardest time because it is when hubby (aka mess maker ) is home.
But I shall try.
Not a bad week. Paced pretty well and let go of the small stuff.
Hubby and I took our 3 grandsons (10,9,7) to the movies last evening. Rested all day before hand and did have some visual migraine type disturbances from the 3D glasses but they passed with excedrin and pepsi.
Housework is on a schedule like in the old days, Monday laundry, Tuesday kitchen, etc. Then it feels more manageable.
Lupin1 - the atkins will kick in once you use up all the extra glucose in your muscles and you get purple ketostix. Kind of fun to watch for that...
he's feeling better. Also, he has a new vest to stay warm on his
chilly walks. Got myself to a new PC doctor and it went fairly
well. Will need to wait for more medical codes to get
straightened out so I can have the lab
work done.
I'm not on Atkins but am on a low carb diet for
the past two months and so
far I'm not missing all 'the extras'. Also, good news.
Today, am embarking on cleaning up lots of books and
clutter. Wish me well. Don't want to jump a week ahead here,
so just stay tuned for further updates. Da Tah Da!!!!!
This will be a busy weekend as our family prepares for Thanksgiving. I'm so thankful for so many things, and you friends here at DS are a big part of my life.
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving! xox
