I am glad you are safe and didn't harm yourself with an accident.
Saying you don't remember is good, it means you know you forgot thats has to be better than the alternative.

Still struggling through an emotional low. Doesn't help that we've got a heatwave going here at the moment and I've got no air conditioning. It was 38C (100 F) here yesterday and they're predicting 40 today.

cmiat, Are you in Australia to be having heat wave in Dec? I know what you mean about about the heat-heat is the worst for me. Emotional lows: even though it doesn't feel like it, they will pass. Telling someone about it often helps, tell us all about it.

Long week here, hubby not feeling well and caring for him as well as managing myself puts me over the edge quickly. Luckily we slept 14 hrs Fri and Sat nights and today has mostly been bits of housework and fetching for him. I cook for myself a couple times a week and heat it but his dinner is fresh each night. Dr appt tomorrow to talk about pain management.
lindasch - I am glad you didn't end up hurt for your fender bender. I totally understand the not driving at night bit. Depth perception is entirely off! It's somewhat depressing, we are already so limited that every bit taken away seems unfair, doesn't it? My son in law has one of the new cars with the automatic crash prevention, if it gets too close to another car at any speed it slows down to keep a safe distance. Hopefully soon it will be on all cars and that will help.

I had a pretty good week! Was not crashing, so able to get into the Christmas Spirit. Not an easy thing to do as I just lost my husband in May. I'm surprised at how much I am able to relate to and recall our happy holidays together. I'm enjoying this busy time.

I am CRASHED but hanging in there anyway. I am happy to finally check in here and trying to organize the one room I rent. It's a disaster. I hope to do this in piecemeal and do my Christmas cards as well as get into that SPIRIT like Darla.
I will be going to sons again for Christmas but he has gained compassion and doesn't want me cooking because he saw me struggle at Thanksgiving. This is huge. I wish I had a magic wand that would put my mess in order. Lol. It's overwhelming, but I will pray and meditate, then put some calming music on to get started.

I've been busy and struggling so haven't been here for a couple weeks. I'm not totally crashed, but feel just on the edge! I wrote about it in my journal. I like reading everyone's check in posts. It helps me feel connected. Linda, how scary. I'm sure glad you weren't injured, but I'm sure the stress has a lot to do with your brain fog. Hope it clears up soon. Love to you all!
