Hugs!
I use gummies for most of what I do take.
Just as an fyi, I take 500 mg of magnesium twice a day and have for years, without it my myofascial pain is way too bad.
Also taking b12, b complex, D3, low dose of CoQ10, biotin and B1.
I've had bariatric surgery and the B vitamins are necessary every day forever.
I am highly sensitive to any type of medication... I actually think a horrible reaction to a birth control pill was a factor in triggering this illness. Some people are more sensitive than others, so listen to your body and what works for you.
Regular over the counter meds affect me badly as well.
I think CFS does such a number on our digestive systems that they simply don't work properly anymore. There are many foods I have also become sensitive to since the onset of this illness.
I just drink a lot of water, get good rest, pace, address new issues as they arise and try very hard to not supplement with pills that my body treats as poison.
This is one unforgiving disease. We're tough, you guys. We really have to struggle to deal with what this illness takes from us. Glad we have each other for support! xo
Magnesium is supposed to be good for us, malic acid too. Try sea veggies aka seaweed...lots of magnesium. I just put a teaspoon of dulse flakes into my veggie soup I'm making for tonight's supper.
Natural foods rarely disagree with me...I only eat organic. Garlic and sunflower seeds I can't tolerate well...but most other things I can handle.
