it's not often you'll get computer help from me!
On the left hand side of your screen, there's a few links to your journal and your friends and things. Choose the "My Account" option. There you'll find a choice of e-mail preferences, and you choose which one you like. :)
Let me know if that actually made sense.
As the head dude on the A team used to say, "I love it when a plan comes together."

You're not the only DS member this has happened to.
Sometimes, just a 'toggle' is needed. Go to the 'My Account' page and select some other option, save it, then exit from DS and then from your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, whatever).
Then reopen your browser, reopen DS, and go to 'My Account' and re-select to receive email notifications, and save it. You should start getting alerts again.
For whatever reason, if DS changes small things behind the scenes, it sometimes knocks member settings out of whack.
If you still don't get alerts after trying everything, let DS know via the help/feedback page. AT the very bottom is a link to send DS a question about your tech problem.
