So Im lying on my patio, laptop on my lap. Im basking in the suns rays at the same time cooled by the ocean breeze. Im caught up in my work, but occasionally I glance up and marvel at the beauty of the day .. emerald mountains, azure sea, soft billowy white in the sky

Then it hits me .. I am so blessed. Blessed to have a job which I enjoy, blessed even more to be able to accommodate the limitations which come with this illness, blessed to be able to work in an environment that not only allows me to rest my body, but which fills my soul as well.

So I had to take a moment to say than you Lord for all my blessings and to acknowledge also that I trust him. With all the decisions I need to make, all the crises I see looming, with all the things that cause worry and distress.. I trust that it will all be OK. This is not the easiest phase of my life, but somehow it seems a door opens every time I need one .. I trust that I will be OK.

What blessings are you grateful for today?

I'm grateful for friends who remind me of some of the things I enjoy about life. Just had a hail storm roll through here. I do love the spring weather. The voice that speaks to me as I look at creation helps to dull the voice of cfs that beats with an annoying rhythm.

I'm grateful that you wrote this journal, Max!! We need reminders sometimes that everything isn't all bad, all the time!! I think that people that suffer this disease, actually appreciate the small things in life, more than the people that have good health.

The things you mentioned!! The earth, the sky, the things that fill your soul. We notice these things because our worlds are so small, that to us, a Robin singing is an absolute symphony!!! As it should be!!

Thank you Lord, for all that you have blessed me with. Thank you Max, for reminding me!

I have been feeling God whispering "trust Me" this past week. It has been an extremely emotional week for me and I have been praying for understanding. "Trust" keeps popping up all over the place. Thanks for posting this. It is another message that really speaks to me.

Iam so glad that people like you exist Max ! I have strong faith in God aswell! I believe that soon everything will be alright ! HE has helped me through so many hard times ! And I can never thank Him enough ! You just need to have faith till the very end ! You all are so strong and such beautiful people ! Bless you all !

I'm thankful that God never gives up on me and makes his face to shine upon me and he gives me peace and oh so much grace that I do not deserve, cannot deserve, but he keeps giving it anyway.

Max , your environment sounds lovely, especially the ocean. We moved 3 years ago to the country and I just came back from a slow walk, enjoying the boardwalk over the "Trench River" a creek that dries up in summer, that the previous farmer had dredged. The sounds of the frogs on the pond, the owl scat at the bottom of the flagpole, the swallows flitting and chattering away, the cardinal's "birdybirdy " call, all reminders of a loving Creator.
