Hi all! I'm new to this group. I have chronic fatigue and fibro. I think I've had chronic fatigue all my life, if that's possible. I was always tired and if I didn't get enough sleep, I would get sick. Luckily, I outgrew the getting sick part. Anyway, I've had fibro for 12 years. I don't have a lot of pain but the fatigue is really bad. I am a stay at home mom of 2 kids and have been at home for 9 years. My husband and I are talking about me working again but the thought drains me. I'm not sure how I will handle working. If I do go to work, he will work nights so then I would have to work all day then have to take care of the kids at night. I can barely keep up with the housework as it is. I don't know what to do. Part of me thinks that it would be good for me. What do you all think? How do you handle the fatigue, lack of energy, and memory issues when you work?

I clean my parents' every week and it takes about an hour and half to do. By the time I'm done, I'm ready for a nap. It seems that if I need the nap to get through the rest of the day.

I do not have insurance so I don't go to the doctor unless I absolutely have to. But I think that I will make an appt. in the next month or so to get a check up and talk to her about the fibro and cfs. I did express to my husband that I was worried about what work would do to me.
