That's not very kind of your Mother, she obviously has NO idea what this illness is like. We here know and we know how bad it feels!
Hang in there! Only one way to go from down!
Hugs and kindness!
Hang in there. this too shall pass. Until then, know that some of us do get it!
We all know what kind of sick you are talking about because we have the illness! Your mother doesn't "get it". Lots of people don't! It doesn't mean she doesn't love you.
I'm so sorry you're so down. I'm up from a two month crash for about a month now. I really needed to feel better for a while. Sometimes, it seems that when we reach the point that we just can't take it anymore....it eases up on us. Maybe you are there right now!!!
Praying that you know you are validated and appreciated here by your friends on DS. We get it!!! Hang in there. Remember, we always get back up. Hang on...it's comin!!!
Big hugs!
I'm so sorry you're having a bad crash and that those closest to you lack understanding. It does make it harder to get better when you have negativity directed at you.
I understand exactly how you feel. You deserve understanding, compassion and kindness. You give mine to you. I wish there were other ways for us all to help each other besides just words. But at least we have that, we have so many other people just like us, who know exactly what we're going through, and who care that we are suffering. So many of us who can commiserate fully and not say hurtful things out of ignorance.
You are not alone, and your suffering is very real and very profound. I hope you are able to get the physical and emotional rest you need, the support you need, or at the very least, the space, time, and peace to allow yourself the chance to feel better.
It will get better! Patience, and time, and a positive attitude really help.
Hugs!
I hope your illness lets up & you get some better days soon. I live for the good days & try to just pamper myself on the bad. Stay as stress free as you can & just go with the flow. Hard life to live isn't it but we can still have a good life. Hugs going your way, Denise
In all honesty, it did feel like I might be dying. But I've had these attacks before, so I just hung in there and I'm feeling better now, more or less. It can be very scary when you get that sick while living alone, and you have no one to whom you can turn.
I used to go to the emergency room, but they charged me thousands of dollars and said there was no indication that anything was wrong with me. So now I just do my best to get through these things. Trouble is, maybe some day I really will be dying and I won't seek help.
So you have my support, because I know how bad things can get.
