If you can afford it rent a storage unit and move what you can to the storage unit. After the main move, then you can slowing empty the storage unit.
I am in the midst of a move myself. I do have a husband who is a great help. However, we have lived in our old house for 19 years. You collect a lot of "stuff" that isn't necessary. I had to get in the right frame of mind to just throw it out or donate it.
New construction? Be prepared for delays. We thought our new home would be ready by the 15th of September. We are still waiting for a firm closing date.
Keeping the windows open as much as possible at first would help, as well as (oddly) having the carpets steamed even though they are new.
Oh, wanted to mention. If they have not painted your new place yet, have them use non allergenic paint with little or no VOCs, it will help a lot!
That's my suggestion, houseplants. At least 2 in every room will help clean the air and minimize your symptoms. Isn't that the coolest?
