You may be too young to recall this, but they used to call MS Hysterical Paralysis! Someday there will be a validating name for CFS/SEID and hopefully, a treatment.... Thanks again.
Maris- I remember that name for MS! My theory is any illness that is perceived as primarily affecting women when discovered is assumed to be "all in their head." Or was pre-1990 anyway. I am so grateful that they are starting to take it seriously and *publish* these finding so all doctors can know.
