Hi all, I have done some pretty steady research on low dose naltrexone as far as treatment for autoimmunity, chronic fatigue and FM. It has a very high success rate, has low risk of side effects and is cheap, which is why docs won't push it! It has been used for many years in the treatment of most autoimmunity and HIV as well. I know some people on the thyroid support site who are taking it and sing praises about it. I am going to try it myself and would like to give you the link to read more about it. The link reads like an advertisement but it really isn't. It is an informative site. Hope it helps!

I take low dose naltrexone and am a part of the LDN yahoo group. It doesn't help with my CFS (each person is different) or fibro at all, but it does help with my sleep issues which make my CFS and polyneuropathy worse which is why I wouldn't give it up for anything.

If you haven't taken it I definitely recommend the yahoo group. I get my prescription from Skip's pharmacy mail order from Florida (the information is available from the group).

Nixxie, thanks for the reply. I always want to hear experiences with meds before I take them. I am hoping this will help with some of my symptoms. Unfortunately, I have Grave's, Celiac, CF and nail psoriasis. I am hoping it will help with at least SOME of my symptoms! LOL
