glad to know i'm not alone. feel like princess and the pea. can't take too hot too cold too noisy etc. think its the fibromyalgis curse. i keep two sleep jackets by my bed, one light, one heavy. two gowns, etc. if i have to change in the middle of the night. my mother, may sherest in peace, used to get so irritated with me putting on and off my jackets. healthy folks can't understand. just accepting myself is hard enough. i can tell 2 degrees difference. poor husband puts up with me.

When my symptoms are at their worst, I just can't seem to get warm no matter what. I feel frozen from the inside out.

I too suffer from this ...In the winter I am cold all the timeeeeee...In the summer when it gets too hot I suffer too ...Do best in the fall and spring ...And there are times it is really warm and I have goosebumps too !!!

Thanks everyone for their postings. I know they did check my thyroid but I'm going to get it checked again. It's been nice weather in Toronto all weekend so I'm not too bad other then this damn cold I just got. Stay warm everyone!!

This is a classic hypothyroid symptom - your thyroid operates your thermostat.

You can either be freezing cold to the bone or burning hot and cannot cope with heat.

In my opinion (any some doctors) most folk that are diagnosed with me/cfs are hypothyroid
