I love good days, they are few & far between but I so enjoyed it. It was one of those days where I felt well again, just for a day, & I had lots of energy & got a great deal done. I said forget pacing,I'm going for it.
I cleaned out the fridge!!!!! Yes I did, boy was it bad, now it is sweet smelling & has lots of room in it. Who knew!
Our dryer went out at the beginning of summer so we just hung our clothes on a clothesline that we put up on the patio. We have a clothesline out in the back of the yard but it was just to far to always pack clothes out there & then go get them. Since my daughter, Misty, has Lupus she couldn't be in the sun so we put the one on the patio. A very kind lady gave us a dryer about 6 weeks ago but we hadn't found anyone to help us get it into the bathroom yet. ( Also, even though our house is not filthy, it is messy & we wanted to clean it before having anyone in. You know how that is.) Misty & I decided to get it in ourselves, we put it on a rolly cart, for lack of a better name, & rolled it through the house & into the bathroom. Not to bad but getting the vent in the back hooked up was a bear. I have to say ( sorry men) that this whole system of rigging it up was invented by a man, a women would have used a zip strip or a velcrow strip but oh no! you have to use metal strips with a screw & nut that won't go together without 4 hands & a lot of strength. Okay, I am done venting about that. lol
Today I am sitting here tired & sick but I have a clean fridge & the dryer is going. Oh happy day!!!! I hope you each get at least one day like this soon. Mnay hugs, Denise

On a personal note, my daughter has lupus as well. The two of us are quite the combination sometimes! LOL...but we help each other out with the fridge cleaning and floors and stuff.
I think that with CFS, so much has been taken from us, that the little bit that we still CAN control, is very important to us. Our homes are very important to us for this reason. It's OURS. We can tidy it up and make ourselves feel useful! Heck, anything we get to do around our homes makes us feel useful! We need to gain back some control. And OH BOY, when we have those good days, it's such a wonderful thing. Sometimes I get two or three of those days in a row. It's like a European vacation for me. I enjoy, and am thankful for every single minute!

That's just amazing; I didn't realise any of us had days when we actually felt "well again". I've never had a day like that since falling ill so LUCKY YOU! What a precious gift you got there.
I'm looking forward to me next really good day and hope you have another one soon too!

I hear you on the roller cart. I use a basket type shopping cart with a clothes basket stuffed in the top to move a lot of things around the house - glad you and your daughter are a great team though sorry to hear she has lupus....
