I haven't been exercising, however will start soon with stretching, yoga, and meditation and/or mindfulness helps. Breathing and just literally letting go of all worry keeps me sane.
I am low on energy presently, however feeling well emotionally and spiritually by accepting what is presently..,
May you feel better and find the correct diagnosis...

i sleep alot in the winter, in the summer i am pretty good. just think as it as hibernation as i do. then i do alot of light workouts. i walk, hike & laugh with my friends. eating healthy works for me also. i am a retired personal trainer, massage therapist & travel agent
I hear a lot of dietary success for some patients.it never helped me, but some people get pretty big results.
Vicoden and stimulants. Allow me to function when I need to. I just crash much longer. It's also a balance once again of if your overdoing it. Just make sure to rest a ton if you have to use them.
Antidepressants can boost your energy levels when you find the right one. Celexa helped me but it all depends on the individual.
More recently low dose naltrexone has been found to help some CFS patients.
That all said.
I'd really pursue the thyroid problems with the best endocrinologist you can find even if it means travel. I know a lot of people who upon removing their goiter got completely functional again with really simple hormone therapy. It sounds like you have some leads to go on in that area. If you don't find any solutions there then positive EBV IGM levels is a pretty common sign of CFS. It's kind of an elimination game and it's terribly frustrating looking for the root. Some people get lucky and it blows over as well. Hope you find a good doctor and a quick answer. Always feel free to message.
