Just one thing, I don't feel right not saying it. Do not use breakers in a panel to shut off your outlets on a reoccurring basis. Please. It is dangerous to switch them off and on, they are not made for that, they have a life span of about 100 switches max...then they start to give.. they can easily arc to the one next to them when you turn them on and electrocute you!. If you really feel you have to turn off? an outlet in some way, trip the gfi in the room that feeds the rest and reset it the next day. Those will also fail eventually but will only cost about $50 to replace and not your life. My husband has been a master electrician in 4 states for over 40 yrs and he is also a firefighter. Believe me, he knows electricity and what it's capable of. He has been at many fires from people and businesses using circuit breakers to turn off their electricity, and has seen deaths from people messing with electrical panels.

Aussiedi: if your meter is a smart meter, then you will need to get rid of that thing (ask for an analog one -- demand it -- or try to use shielding material to block the smart meter microwaves. The gauss meter will only read the levels of ELF electromagnetic radiation from the electrical wiring and power lines. The good news is that the microwaves from smart meters and other wireless devices can be blocked with material that isn't too expensive (in context of course). But if it's the ELF EMR (from the electricity running to the meter) then it's a little harder to shield (and more expensive). It may be a wiring problem or something that can be fixed by electricians who know what they are doing, but it might be something you will have to shield. There are materials online that can help you, but it's a big learning curve. I'm more familiar with the shielding materials for microwaves (RFMW EMR). I hope this makes sense. Thank you doglady for leaving this detailed information. I too live in a condo and spend more time at home now because of this illness. Someone came to my house and checked various levels and fields for me. Overall, not too bad. I had my smart meter removed for starters. There was a hot spot on my neighbor's wall which I avoid sitting or being near. The person who came was able to pick up radio stations coming through my bedroom? Those obviously would be radio waves but he didn't seem too concerned about them. My cable cord is rather long and is piled in circles in the corner. Is that the same as electrical cords? How I will unravel that, I'm not certain.
The person who set up my lap top said I didn't need the battery? and it has been removed. It is hooked up to a cable cord and I'm pretty certain the wifi has been turned off. I will check it.
Last but not least, the car I bought 2 years ago, has Sirus radio. I believe that's wifi?
Sorry to bug you with that, but do you or any one on here know anything about that? Does
that mean I'm getting wifi signals coming into the car when I listen to the radio which of coarse love to do.
I agree we're living in an electronic age and it's pretty much impossible to avoid them
However, I know if I sit next to someone with a cell phone, I feel it later and get all kinds
of twitches and muscle pains. I have tried to limit my exposure and feel it may've caught
up with me in some places. I too will look into getting a gauss meter.
I don't know if you're in the states, but Target still sells corded phones. You do have to look for them, but they're still out there. I'd prefer newer cars with less bells and whistles too.
