I am quite new to this group and to CFS myself so I still learning what symptoms belong with CFS and what could be something else.
I'm afraid I don't know anything adrenal gland fatigue, so I couldn't help there. Can you list your symptoms so we can see if they sound like CFS symptoms?

Scroll down to a summary of the diagnosis criteria...it may be helpful to you. Doctors are often very ignorant about this illness, so I recommend educating yourself as much as possible before you decide what to do about this.
CFS is diagnosed by exclusion. They run all the test to make sure the fatigue is not because of one of a multitude of other illnesses. Below is a partial list of some things they check.
Hypothyroidism
Lupus
Fibromyalgia (some doctors/people think Fibro and CFS are the same illness)
Anemia

I have heard of adrenal gland fatigue, and I take supplements to support my adrenal glands. They are not functioning well do to stressors in my life. I saw alternative nurse practitioner as I was being tested for the multiple illnesses. A rheumatoidologist is the doctor that actually diagnosed me. Sorry running out of mental and physical energy. I hope you find good information here and find a supportive doctor to diagnose and treat you.
