I wanted everyone's opinion about what I've been going through the last few weeks. I know everyone is different but it will help anyway.
I've been tired all of my life but I wasn't diagnosed with CFS until 2011. The last couple of years the fatigue has gotten worse and the last few months, even more so.
The Thursday before last, I went to my parents' to clean. I clean their house every week and I do it because it gets me out of the house and I feel good about doing this for them. My parents are in their 60s. My dad is on disability for RA and an injury to his back. My mom is still working and won't be able to retire for a few years. She doesn't get a lot of rest and I like to be able to do this for them. Anyway, so I cleaned that Thursday, went grocery shopping on Friday, which is stressful as it is but the weather was kind of yucky and that made me nervous. On Saturday we went to my parents' house to pick our their tree and decorate which took all day. So from Saturday to about Wednesday, I was so exhausted I couldn't do much. I was able to take care of the kids and make dinner but for the most part, I just sat on the couch.
So then this pass Friday, I went to clean my parents' house again, then Saturday, went back to my parents' house; my cousin and his family came for an ornament exchange so we were there all day. Then Sunday I went Christmas shopping for the kids and to get some necessities. Today, I was so tired I couldn't do anything beyond taking care of the kids and dinner.
Could this be a crash? I'm thinking it is but I haven't known how to tell if I'm going through one or what.

When I crash taking care of kids and cooking would be out of the question. I just lie here like a lump, sometimes for days on end. Taking care of kids and cooking, for me, could very well lead to a crash in the first place...
You seem to be quite high-functioning. I can only cook every second day because I lack the energy to do it daily. And the day I cook, its pretty much ALL I can do on that day.
If I feel like I've got the flu, then it's a crash.
If you have significantly more fatigue than you usually do it's a crash.
Crashes vary in length. I hope yours ends before you even read this.
