Thinking about what might or might not happen, sometimes makes things harder. So much of life is out of our control, and the more I realize that, the easier it seems for me to let go of worrying. Sometimes solutions to my problems just appear without me having to do anything. You have the support of those like us who totally understand and just remember there will be better days.

Thanks to the healthcare act, my full-time job is getting cut before I've even had a chance to pull myself together but, like Max says, we'll be OK. Maybe not what we planned or wanted but, OK.
I just picked up a book someone on one of these posts had mentioned called "How to be Sick" and it looks quite promising. After I found this website the other night and started reading these posts, I realized I haven't really gotten to the place of acceptance with this illness yet. I think that once I stop fighting the idea so much, perhaps I'll learn better coping strategies.
I always manage to make it through the overwhelm, though, and I'm sure you will as well! I think that those of us with CFS are a tenacious bunch - we have had to be to get through this.
