Despite being "stupid sick", you are wise, incredibly compassionate and understanding and so funny at times that it's the only time my belly gets a good workout . Only you could throw those wonderful parties at your place where we all had so much fun and enjoyed your company so much... without being physically present.A fun cfs party where we can't make it in person but are all present in spirit and love. Who else could ever create such an atmosphere just bywriting.I am so sorry for your suffering and pray you become well.I am deeply grateful for your friendship and although separated by distance you will always be in my heart.xo

Aloha dear Sparrow ~ I saddened to hear how sick you've been. I've been on DS about 6 months ~ I don't know if I've seen your posts in the past. Sounds like I would have enjoyed them from what AussieDi was saying ~ that you have a wonderful sense of humor! We certainly need a good laugh sometimes to help us get through our tough days. I'm so glad that you reached out and checked in with us here ~ many remember you fondly. It must be hard for you to sit at a computer but please do stay in contact as you're able.

Thanks so much Nina1959 for the beautiful video and song "Somewhere Out There" ~ Linda Ronstadt's always been a favorite of mine! The lyrics say "It helps to think that we're sleeping under the same big sky ~" so I see why Nina thought of this song in response to your comment.

I like that this version of the song shows the words so it's easy to sing along! I made a discussion topic on the CFS board sometime back asking folks to post cheerful sing-a-long songs hopefully with a link to a video with lyrics. I'm going to find that discussion and post this new song so it'll bring it back up on the board.

There's lots of cheerful songs that folks shared so perhaps you'll feel up to listening to some of those when you feel up to it Sparrow! The neuroscientists are saying that if we sing out loud to a cheerful song, it does improve out mood ~ but we kind of knew that without scientists telling us!
