Christian Support Group Community Group
This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.

It has been awhile since I last Posted anything, so "Thank you" to any who might read this. I pray that it will be worth your time, and have some meaning to greater understanding. As always, if it does help, then All Praise and Credit goes to The Lord.
"Why me?" is a question asked continually. It can be in "Why?" to suffering any affliction, or "Why?" to any struggle in life. Some would even question "Why?" to the fact that pain and suffering exists. We live in a sinful world, because the sin of man was to be like gods.
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Genesis 3:4-6 NKJV
We aren't God. The Lord gave us the Earth, but we don't have the power to control it, nor the wisdom to run it. We await the glorious day that the Earth becomes The Lord's. On that day, there will be no more suffering of any kind, because God is God, and we will never be or want to be God. We Praise Him, because He is Perfect. If given the choice to be a god, the answer is simple. God is Perfect, and The Only Perfect God, and The Only One Fit To Be God. Imagine a human with that power, and the tremendous disaster that would be in that mistake. All Power and Glory goes to The Lord, Forever and Ever.
The Tennis Legend Arthur Ashe once said, that he didn't question why he contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion. He just wanted to live out the rest of his life the best that he could. He did some terrific humanitarian things, and is still an example in his Foundation, after he passed away. He did mention one thing in an interview, that I still remember. It is remembered, because it is sadly a common mistake. Mr. Ashe mentioned that while even Jesus said "Why Me?" on the Cross, that he never questioned "Why Me?".
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Matthew 27:46 NKJV
This was not a question. This was an answer to:
My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?
Psalms 22:1 NKJV
Because Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ died on The Cross, we are now never forsaken by Our God. The Lord Jesus answered those cries throughout time. He gave His Life, that we should never be forsaken throughout Eternity. It wasn't a "Why Me?".
Think of the question: Would you give your right arm to save someone's life? Many good people would say, "Yes!". Think then on the person who has a Stroke, and their right side is paralyzed. They keep their Faith, and help and encourage others. Someone who doesn't Believe wants to know why that person who is paralyzed on their right side has such Hope. That sharing leads to Believing, and a life is Saved. Often we don't understand the "Why?", but The Lord knows the "Me". He works miracles in things we wish we never had. Our afflictions can be used to Save others. With that, then the question is "Why Not Me?".
We have narrow vision, and narrow understanding. We can't see all that we might help in enduring our afflictions and difficulties. The Lord sees all. Some call it the "Butterfly Effect". The effect of a butterfly flapping it's wings in Hawai'i, and causing a Tsunami in Japan. That even little things can cause huge things to happen. Those little things matter. The Lord can use us enduring our suffering and difficulties to Save others. This is often in ways that we can't even see. This world is a place of suffering, but The Lord answered that call, and can use our suffering, so that others might not ever know suffering throughout Eternity. I pray this made sense. God Bless you all.
This made perfect sense and it was enlightening .
Our God who loves us so dearly that he gives us life and sustains us.
God not only gives us life and sustains us—He
loves us so very much that he gave us his only begotten son, Jesus. And it is a true miracle that we now know that God loves us so tenderly—so dearly—so completely that God suffers with us in our time of pain and loss! I think ,God who knows the end of our story suffers with us too!
You are a blessing .

I had a very hard day physically, today! The respiratory infection is still not gone, going on almost a month.
I had a cramp in my left foot that was so bad, it feels like someone sliced open the ball of the foot about 2 inches deep with a razor blade. The pain is horrible. I went to flute choir, and I am losing the ability to play flute, after 45 years of playing, my left fingers are becoming so deformed, I can't press the keys anymore. And for some reason, my body hurts everywhere, like someone is pinching me under the skin.
To top it off, the secret bipolar forum I run went off the walls.
I admit, I am sorely tempted to ask God, "Why me?" Why does the RA pain get worse and worse? Why am I losing the things I love to do? That make life worthwhile? I can't walk anymore, now I am losing my flute. And I am too sick to do school work.
But, you have reminded me that one day we will be with Jesus, and there will be no more pain or suffering anymore. I have written elsewhere tonight, that I trust God! And I do! But, when pain is overwhelming, or sadness, or family issues, financial problems or any other one of a thousand things, so often we are tempted to wonder why we deserve this, when we love and serve God. And yet, as you say, think about what Jesus suffered for us on the cross! Then, rejoice!
Yes, Smil. One day His Kingdom on Earth as It is in Heaven. He still lives in us now too, soo everyday is His Day, throughout now, Forever to Eternity. I hope that made sense. Thank you and God Bless.

When I sin I ask Jesus for forgiveness through prayer and the I ignore the lies of the father of lies and move forward with the guidance of The Prince of Peace ,Jesus.
