Item 4: I already have my opinion about divorce from a Christian point of view. I also already know that God doesn’t like divorce. But I want to know 2 things from other Christians. 1st, what do others think about divorce? 2nd, I’ve heard others say that divorce is a sin. Really? How come not a ingle person can show me any actually scripture say that divorce is a sin. Not that God doesn’t like divorce or that a divorce person is committing adultery. I know all of this and seen it in scripture, but to those who say that divorce is a sin, show me where that is said. I have not yet actually seen those words anywhere.

I don't think of divorce as a sin, but in my church, they still see you as married for life, just not according to the civil laws, and they say you must then live a single life. There are a few exceptions where they say no marriage ever existed in the first place, eg. one that was never consummated, one where the couple decided to never had children, and there are a few others.

In our church, a divorced person could still go to Mass and Communion and be in the state of grace as long as they were not in the state of mortal sin. Many divorced people do hook up or remarry someone, and that is when the church says they should not attend Holy Communion.

This is purely for Phoenix's question, and I in no way wish to stir up anyone who believes differently. Feel free to just answer Phoenix with what YOU believe, and let mine stand as what I believe. We don't want to get into a divisive discusion. One 12 step group I used to go to said: "Take what you like and leave the rest." Good advice for our group, don't you think?

I don't want divorce. I want to work on my marriage and try to save it. My estrange wife is full with hurt and anger. She wants divorce. A relation, from beginning to end, is a team effort. She is apart of this team so what can I really do to stop my divorce?

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
